The End in Mind

We’ve all seen the result of a lack of vision. We’ve seen people busily running around executing their strategies for this or that but with no clear idea of where they are going or what they are trying to achieve. In The End in Mind, Ian Carmichael and Marty Sweeney encourage us not be Christians who run around like ‘headless chooks’.  Keeping our minds fixed on things above and with our end goal clearly in sight, we are led through a series of readings from Revelation to Matthew. Working back from the end point of all followers of the Lord Jesus, we are encouraged to strive to do the work of the Lord. Thoroughly scriptural, the readings are short but deep. They are designed to read daily and contemplate either on your own or in a group. The readings rely on and relate to each other ending up drawing us deeper into our understanding of the gospel and how to live a life that proclaims the message of Jesus to others.
