Disappointed

I found great disappointment as I started to read "The Class of Chappo".
I had just finished reading Naomi Reed's "The Plum Tree in the Desert" and "The Class of Chappo" just did not come up to this measure.
Professor J.I.Packer on page 35 of his final book "Heritage of Anglican Theology" writes "Even to-day, as in fact has always been the case, the majority of people who come to faith do so gradually through involvement in some form of Christian worship, rather than by standing up in a meeting, signing a decision card, or going into the counselling room. The latter sort of of conversion, of course, is always talked about from the pulpit and platforms as it were the most important. Statistically however, it is not."

Chappo

I enjoyed it just as I knew him.

I so much enjoyed reading this book that we then bought 10 more copies to gift to our family of preachers & 5 church staff members who preach. A good investment!
