This is a great read for those living through dark clouds or those walking the journey with someone living through dark clouds. It is easy to read and I couldn't put it down. I have since given copies to a number of my 'dark clouds' friends most of whom have also devoured the content. I especially appreciate the framework for lament that shows that it is very appropriate for a Christian to bring his or her lament before the face and heart of our awesome God. The key elements of lament as discussed in this book are: 1. An address to God; 2. A complaint; 3. A request and 4. An expression of trust and/or praise. This book has impacted my life more that any Christian book I have read in a long time. Highly recommended.
