I bought this thinking it would be nice to be able to write beside the scripture I am reading, without writing in my Bible! And this book gives lots more room to do that. What I was pleasantly surprised to find was how it actually pushes me to really slow down my reading, and dwell over short passages - because I have to write something about it! The result is new insights and blessings brought out of Scripture that exceeded my expectations. I don't rush through the book. I don't even do it every day, so I can think even more about what I've previously found. It sits on my desk close at hand, not on the bookshelf where it will be forgotten. I also date each time I write something. Glad I stumbled upon it!
