Description
The Gospel of John is a most remarkable book, written by one who enjoyed a special closeness to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is John who is described as ‘the disciple whom Jesus loved’, even though he loves all who are his disciples. Not surprisingly, John provides us with a rich picture of Jesus’ person and work. Towards the end of this Gospel, John tells us why he wrote it: ‘that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name’.
This present volume is concerned with only a single chapter of the Gospel, chapter 11, which is one of the most precious of them all, showing us one glorious thing after another about Jesus.
