Our gospel is eternal, our buildings just a means to an end. So why do we need to own buildings? Why not hire a cinema, or a school hall for Sunday services? Many new churches do this, and it can work very well in the early stages. But is it a good long-term solution? Should we spend money on bricks and mortar, when the church is about people? Can't we make do with what we've got? Isn't it better for money go to mission instead?
